Purdue North Central duel sport athlete Toby Gentry was inducted in to the PNC Hall of Fame in 2016.

A four-year student-athlete from the class of 1994 played both baseball and basketball under Head Coach Larry Blake Sr. during the Centaur Era before PNC became the Panthers.

As a baseball player Gentry had a career high .445 batting average with career highs in doubles (21), RBI's and runs scored (40).

On the hardwood, Gentry averaged 12 points per game and set a school basketball record at the time with eight three-pointers in a single game.
