Cassidy Deno left her mark at PNW as one of the top all-around student-athletes in school history. Named the 2016-17 CoSIDA College Division Academic All-American of the Year, Deno was twice named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team, while also earning NAIA All-American status twice for her success on the court. She became just the second player in school history to eclipse 2,000 points and closed her career ranked second on the team's all-time scoring list with 2,228 points. As a senior, Deno averaged 20.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists, to help the Pride qualify for their fourth NAIA National Tournament in five years. The Otterbein, Ind. native was named an all-conference performer all four years during her playing career including a first-team selection in her junior and senior seasons. She was voted the 2013-14 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year after leading the program to a regular season conference title, conference tournament championship and the first national tournament victory in school history.
