
Purdue University Northwest officially opened the 1,765-square foot campus-based Training and Physical Therapy Center in April of 2015.
The center is designed to provide training and injury-related services to Purdue Northwest student-athletes, as well as outpatient, rehabilitation care for students, faculty-staff and their dependents, and members of the university’s Fitness Center on a referral, fee-for-service basis.
The Training Room & Physical Therapy Center is located across from the John Friend Court in the FNRC and has a satellite facility located at Dowling Park. Athletic trainers have access to a wide range of preventative and injury care for student-athletes, including:
- Physical therapy
- Electronic stimulation
- Ice Bathing and icing
- Taping
- Heating
