The Purdue Northwest baseball team wrapped up its GLIAC series against Parkside on Sunday afternoon, falling 11-3 in the series finale at Historic Simmons Field.

- Purdue Northwest struck first but could not hold off a big middle-inning surge from Parkside in the series finale.
- The Pride got on the board in the opening inning, taking advantage of a Parkside error to plate the game's first run and grab an early 1-0 lead. Parkside responded in the bottom half with an RBI single to even the score at 1-1.
- Both teams remained quiet over the next several innings before Parkside edged ahead in the fifth inning to take a 2-1 lead.
- Purdue Northwest answered in the sixth, capitalizing on defensive miscues to regain the lead. Joey Guiliano (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) reached on an error and moved into scoring position before Billy Chidsey (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) drew a walk. Drew Kosteba (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) reached on another error, allowing Guiliano to score and tie the game. Nathan Koster (Mount Pleasant, Mich./Mount Pleasant) followed with an RBI single to give the Pride a 3-2 advantage.
- The momentum quickly shifted in the bottom half, as Parkside broke the game open with a six-run inning. The Rangers used a combination of hits, walks, and Purdue Northwest errors to take control and build an 8-3 lead.
- Parkside continued to add on with two runs in the seventh and another in the eighth, extending the lead to 11-3.
- Nathan Koster (Mount Pleasant, Mich./Mount Pleasant) led the Pride offensively with two hits and an RBI, while Billy Chidsey (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) added a double and scored twice. Brayden Barrett (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) and Braylon Holland (Hobart, Ind./Andrean) each recorded a hit.
- Ben Cash (Oak Lawn, Ill./Oak Lawn Community) started on the mound and went five innings, allowing four runs (two earned) while striking out three. The bullpen worked the final innings as Parkside pulled away late.
