The Purdue Northwest baseball team traveled to Daytona Beach to take on Embry-Riddle University in a doubleheader event to close out their Florida trip. The Pride would split the series winning game one 9-8 and losing game two 1-9.
The Basics

Game 1, vs. Embry-Riddle University - W, 9-8 (7 innings)
The Breakdown
	- Junior Brad Miller led the Pride with two hits and a RBI.
 
	- Junior Tyler Nelson () also contributed two hits and Sophomore Beldon Glasgow (Markle, Ind./Norwell) contributed a hit and three RBIs.
 
	- Junior Noah Burgh (Warsaw, Ind./Warsaw Community High School) started on the mound for the Pride pitching 4.2 innings and recording three strikeouts.
 
	- Alex Britton led EBU with two hits.
 
	- Dillon Moran started and pitched three innings for the Eagles and tallied two strikeouts.
 
	- ERU would strike first as they took advantage of some errors scoring four runs in the second.
 
	- The Pride's offense would explode in the fourth inning as they would put up six runs to take the lead, 6-4.
 
	- The Pride would add two more runs in the fifth inning to take a commanding 8-4 lead.
 
	- ERU would mount their comeback in the fifth inning putting up three runs and then putting up one in the sixth to tie the game 8-8.
 
	- In the top of the seventh Glasgow would hit a RBI single to give the Pride a 9-8 lead which would lead Riley Gallagher (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North High School) to come in and slam the door on the mound to secure the 9-8 victory for the Pride.
 
 
Game 2, vs. Embry-Riddle University - L, 9-1 (7 innings)
The Breakdown
	- Luke Montgomery (Orland Park, Ill./St. Laurence High School), Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central), Brad Miller (Oak Forest, Ill./Oak Forest), Hayden Matulich (San Jose, Calif./Pioneer), Beldon Glasgow (Markle, Ind./Norwell), and Ethan Imlach (Mokena, Ill./Mount Carmel) all each had one hit.
 
	- Freshman Owen Walkowiak () started on the mound for the Pride and pitched two innings.
 
	- Camden Traficante led ERU with three hits and three RBIs.
 
	- Spencer Marinac started for ERU and pitched four innings recording three strikeouts.
 
	- ERU would strike first putting up one run in the first and not looking back.
 
	- ERU would put up 8 more runs leading up to the fifth inning.
 
	- The Pride would get on the board in the seventh but by that time it was to late to mount the comeback and ECU would secure the 9-1 victory.
