The Purdue Northwest Women's track and field team competed last week with a strong showing at the 2026 GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held April 29–May 1 in Allendale, Michigan. Competing against top conference competition, the Pride delivered multiple podium finishes, personal bests, and scoring performances across sprints, distance, field events, and relays.

Notable Women's Results
- Women's 100m: Chisom Chukwuocha (Indianapolis, Ind./) advanced through the prelims and placed 5th overall in the finals with a personal-best time of 12.22. Isis Mitchell (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake North) also competed in the prelims.
- Women's 200m: Chukwuocha delivered another strong performance, placing 6th in the finals with a time of 25.02 after qualifying through prelims with a personal best (25.25).
- Women's 400m: Mary Allen (Mesa, Ariz./Mesquite) had a standout meet, placing 8th in the finals with a personal-best time of 58.91 after advancing through prelims (58.93 PB). Charli Slater (Gilbert, Ariz./Mesquite) also competed in the prelims.
- Women's 400m Hurdles: Anastasia Kudin (Princeton, N.J./West Windsor Plainsboro) qualified through prelims and placed 4th overall in the finals with a time of 1:03.26, earning valuable team points.
- Women's 800m: Sara McGraw (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) advanced to the finals and placed 8th overall with a time of 2:19.30 after qualifying through prelims. Kayla Garza (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) also competed in the event.
- Women's 1500m: Kayla Garza (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) and Lizeth Flores Bernal (Harvard, Ill./Harvard) competed in the prelims, representing the Pride in the distance events.
- Women's 5000m: Myrriam Dhoore (LaPorte, Ind./LaPorte) delivered one of the top performances of the meet, placing 8th overall with a personal-best time of 17:45.22. Kayla Guajardo also recorded a personal best.
- Women's Field Events: Aubree Gleason (Gilbert, Ariz./Williams Field) led the throwing group with a 4th-place finish in the discus (41.32m) and a solid shot put performance (11.11m). Kaelin Kreischer (Valparaiso, Ind./Morgan Township) also competed in the discus and hammer throw, while Jada Addo recorded a personal best in the hammer throw.
- In jumps and combined events, Cailey Weber (Hobart, Ind./Hobart) had a strong all-around performance in the heptathlon, highlighted by a 4th-place finish in the high jump (1.51m), 2nd in the javelin (28.31m), and multiple personal best marks across events. Malia Butler (Dyer, Ind./Hanover Central) placed 7th in the long jump (5.45m), while Kelli Blissett (Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley) competed in the high jump.
- Women Heptathlon: Cailey Weber (Hobart, Ind./Hobart) finished 3rd overall earning the bronze with 4240 points.
- Women's Relays: The 4x100m relay team of Mary Allen (Mesa, Ariz./Mesquite), Cailey Weber (Hobart, Ind./Hobart), Anastasia Kudin (Princeton, N.J./West Windsor Plainsboro), and Chukwuocha placed 6th overall with a season-best time of 48.99. The 4x400m relay team also posted a season best, finishing 7th in 3:59.65.
