Kiara Spates earns 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honors

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has officially announced its All-Region honorees for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season. This prestigious recognition is awarded to the top five individuals in each event across every region.

Purdue Northwest proudly congratulates standout athlete Kiara Spates (Markham, Ill./Thorton Township) on earning All-Region honors once again. Kiara capped off an impressive outdoor season with multiple top finishes, highlighted by a stellar second-place performance at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships.This recognition adds to an already historic career. In 2024, Spates made program history by winning the GLIAC title in the triple jump, becoming Purdue Northwest's first-ever women's GLIAC champion. This marks her third career All-Region selection. Spates also earned third place at the 2025 GLIAC Indoor Championships and was recently named Purdue Northwest's Female Athlete of the Year.

With her eyes set on the upcoming season, Kiara remains focused and determined to elevate her performance and continue building on an already exceptional collegiate career.
