The Purdue Northwest track and field team competed last week with a strong performance at the 2026 GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held April 29–May 1 in Allendale, Michigan. Competing against top conference competition, the Pride delivered multiple podium finishes, personal bests, and scoring performances across sprints, distance, field events, and relays.

Notable Men's Results
- Men's 100m: Myles Sisco (Portage, Ind./Portage) qualified for the finals and placed 7th overall with a time of 10.67. Kalen Cummings (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike), AJ Jenkins (Elgin, Ill.), DJ Willis (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park - River Forest), and Jaziah Green (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) also competed in the prelims.
- Men's 200m: AJ Jenkins (Elgin, Ill.) turned in a standout performance, placing 7th overall with a personal best time of 22.01 after qualifying through the prelims (22.19 PB). Jaziah Green (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) also recorded a personal best in the prelim round.
- Men's 400m: The Pride had a strong showing in the finals, led by Carson Bell (Hobart, Ind./Hobart), who placed 4th overall with a personal-best time of 47.98. Willie Clay (Laporte, Ind./Laporte) followed with a 6th-place finish (49.16), and Max Nauman (Skokie, Ill./Niles West) added an 8th-place finish (49.85).
- Men's 400m Hurdles: Kyden Boyer (Marshal, Ill./Marshall) delivered a strong performance, finishing 6th overall with a personal best time of 55.38 after qualifying through prelims.
- Men's 1500m: Carmelo Quintero (Merrillville, Ind./Merrillville) and Jalen Strietelmeier (/Highland, Ind.) both advanced to the finals, finishing 9th (4:04.41 PB) and 10th (4:04.44), respectively.
- Men's Field Events: Eli Baumann (Allendale, Mich./Allendale) led the Pride with an exceptional meet, capturing the GLIAC title in the javelin throw (53.97m) while also placing 3rd in the long jump (7.09m, new Division II mark) and 4th in the high jump (2.00m). Jeremy Melton (Pontiac, Ill./Pontiac Township) added a 6th-place finish in the high jump, while Quinten McToy (Highland, Ind./Highland) placed 4th in the long jump. Cantrell Brooks (Porter, Texas/Porter) secured a 3rd-place finish in the pole vault (4.42m), and Zack Bosi (Spring Valley, Ill./Hall) placed 5th in the triple jump.
- Men's Relays: The 4x400m relay team of Carson Bell (Hobart, Ind./Hobart), Max Nauman (Skokie, Ill./Niles West), Luke Van Tholen (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South), and Willie Clay (Laporte, Ind./Laporte) placed 5th overall with a time of 3:17.96, recording a new season-best and Division II mark.
