The Purdue Northwest Pride women's cross-country team delivered a standout performance Friday at the Spartan Classic hosted by Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. Led by junior
Myrriam Dhoore (LaPorte, Ind./LaPorte) and junior
Sara McGraw (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli), who raced to second- and third-place finishes, the Pride earned a strong 2
nd place team showing in a competitive 6K field. Freshman Kayla Guajardo was also impressive with a top five finish to help pace the squad.

- Kayla Guajardo earned 5th overall with a time of 24:49.30.
- Kayla Garza (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) crossed the line in 12th place at 27:01.20.
- Sidney Elijah (Valparaiso, Ind./Hebron) placed 16th in 27:54.70.
- Sonya Wagner (Greenville, Tenn./North Greene) finished 20th with a time of 28:15.20.
- Rachel Sanchez (Berwyn, Ill.) clocked 29:53.20 for 30th place.
- Johanna Compton () finished 40th in 35:35.00.
