Purdue Northwest Cross Country Announces 2025 Schedule

The Purdue Northwest men's and women's cross-country teams have unveiled their 2025 fall schedules, featuring a competitive slate of meets across the Midwest. With several returning runners and a renewed focus on postseason success, both Pride squads are primed for a strong campaign to hit the ground running.

The season kicks off on Friday, September 5, as both teams travel to Romeoville, Illinois, for the Lewis Early Bird meet, hosted by Lewis University. The following weekend, PNW heads to Aurora, Illinois, for the Spartan Classic on Saturday, September 13, an annual meet hosted by Aurora University.

After a short break in the schedule, the team resumes action on Saturday, September 27, at the Lucian Rosa Invitational in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Hosted by Parkside, this meet offers a fast course and strong regional competition—ideal preparation for the championship season ahead.

October opens with a return trip to Romeoville on Saturday, October 11, for the Lewis Crossover, one of the largest and most competitive Division II meets in the Midwest. Later that month, all eyes turn to postseason racing as PNW competes in the 2025 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 25. This year's conference meet will be hosted by Davenport University.

The road to nationals begins at the NCAA Midwest Championships on Saturday, November 8, once again hosted by Parkside in Kenosha. Teams and individuals who qualify will advance to the NCAA Division II National Championships, scheduled for Saturday, November 22, also hosted by Parkside.

With a blend of familiar courses, high-level competition, and postseason aspirations, the team is eager to make their mark this fall. Fans can stay updated on results, race previews, and athlete highlights at PNWAthletics.com and across Purdue Northwest's social media channels.
