The Purdue Northwest women's cross country team continued its 2026 season Friday at the Olivet Nazarene Midwest Classic in Bourbonnais, Illinois, turning in a standout performance against a competitive field. The Lions were led by a 1-2 finish from seniors
Myrriam Dhoore (LaPorte, Ind./LaPorte) and
Sara McGraw (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli), who crossed the finish line first and second, respectively.
Dhoore captured the individual title with a time of 23:05.5, while McGraw followed just 11.6 seconds later at 23:17.1. PNW also placed three more runners inside the top 30, with the Lions putting together a strong showing throughout the field.

- Freshman Alex Sinclair placed 18th with a time of 24:46.1.
- Freshman Caylin Vanshyock (Laporte, Ind./Laporte) crossed the finish line in 23rd, recording a time of 25:09.2.
- Senior Kayla Garza (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) finished 30th in 25:23.3.
- Freshman Riley Reed () placed 45th with a time of 27:10.0.
- Junior Johanna Compton (Lafayette, Ind./William Henry Harrison) finished 64th in 28:52.4.
- Senior Sonya Wagner (Greenville, Tenn./North Greene) crossed in 69th with a time of 29:11.8.
