The Purdue Northwest Track and Field team had an action-packed weekend as they competed at the Chicagoland Championships and the Indiana Tech Open on April 4
th and 5
th. Once again, the Pride had a strong showing with multiple top finishes between the two meets.

Notable Men's Results
Chicagoland Championships
- Men's 100m: Kalen Cummings (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) came in 21st, clocking a time of 11.16.
- Men's 200m: Ryan Coleman (Lansing, Ill./Thornton Fractional South) recorded a 36th-place finish with a time of 23.42
- Men's 400m: Carson Bell (Hobart, Ind./Hobart) secured 3rd overall with a time of 49.23, while Michale Golston (Merrillville, Ind./Merrillville) grabbed 6th in 50.26, and Alex Simmons (Villa Park, Ill./Willowbrook) landed in 15th at 51.47.
- Men's 800m: Josh Tuck (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) crossed the line in 33rd with a time of 2:01.78, followed by Hayden Podlin (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central HS) in 39th at 2:03.04.
- Men's 1500m: Josh Tuck (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) took 40th with a time of 4:15.27, and James Snow ended up 43rd after running 4:17.04.
- Men's 5000m: Rafael Maier (Portage, Ind./Portage) placed 31st in 16:22.93, just ahead of Brandan Bagnara (Oak Forest, Ill./Oak Forest), who earned 32nd with a time of 16:27.83.
- Men's 10,000m: Jackson Bakker (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) raced to a 3rd-place finish, posting an impressive time of 31:48.06.
- Men's 110m Hurdles: Kyden Boyer (Marshal, Ill.) claimed 5th in the finals with a time of 15.84 after qualifying 4th in the prelims.
- Men's 400m Hurdles: Kyden Boyer (Marshal, Ill.) registered a 12th-place finish, running 58.60.
- Men's High Jump: Eli Baumann (Allendale, Mich./Allendale) cleared 1.94m (6' 4.25") to earn 2nd place in the event.
- Men's Pole Vault: CJ Brooks vaulted his way to 4th place with a mark of 4.35m (14' 3.25").
- Men's Long Jump: Jamon Miller (Michigan City, Ind.) reached 18th overall, jumping 6.01m (19' 8.75").
- Men's Triple Jump: Lucas Bass (Maple Park, Ill./Kaneland) locked in 4th place with a leap of 13.56m (44' 6"), while Andre Taylor (West Palm Beach, Fla./Palm Beach Lakes) finished 7th with a mark of 13.35m (43' 9.75").
