The Purdue Northwest track and field team had a strong showing at the 2026 St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite, held on May 7-8 in Joliet, Illinois. The Pride recorded several top finishes, personal bests, and solid performances across distance and field events.

Women's Results

• Women's 1500m Invitational: Myrriam Dhoore (LaPorte, Ind./LaPorte) placed second overall in her section with a time of 4:53.90.
• Women's Discus: Kaelin Kreischer (Valparaiso, Ind./Morgan Township) recorded a mark of 34.18 meters to finish 12th overall.

Men's Results

• Men's High Jump: Eli Baumann (Allendale, Mich./Allendale) tied for seventh overall after clearing 1.97 meters.
• Men's 1500m Open: Keaton Westley (Arvada, Colo.) led the Pride with a personal-best time of 4:10.27 to place 10th overall. Chase Fajman (Dyer, Ind.) added a time of 4:30.60.
• Men's 800m Open: Chase Fajman (Dyer, Ind.) posted a time of 2:04.32.
• Men's 400m Hurdles: Dylan Guilford (Winamac, Ind./Winamac Community) finished 11th overall in 1:01.83, while Niko Marinkovich (Crown Point, Ind./Lake Central) followed in 13th with a time of 1:03.58.
• Men's Long Jump: Lucas Bass (Maple Park, Ill./Kaneland) finished eleventh with a jump of 6.40m.
