The Purdue Northwest Track and Field team traveled to the Kelly Family Sports Center in Allendale, Michigan, on Friday to compete in the 2025 GVSU Big Meet, where the Pride showcased their talents with multiple top ten finishes.

Notable Men's Results:
- Men's 600 Meters: Hayden Podlin (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central HS) put together a strong race, finishing 14th with a time of 1:25.24.
- Men's 5000 Meters: Jackson Bakker (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) delivered a solid performance, securing 13th place with a time of 15:12.32.
- Men's 4x400m Relay: The team of Carson Bell (Hobart, Ind./Hobart), Willie Clay (Laporte, Ind.), Hayden Podlin (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central HS), and Alex Simmons (Villa Park, Ill./Willowbrook) put together an impressive effort, finishing 7th with a time of 3:23.57.
- Men's High Jump: Eli Baumann (Allendale, Mich./Allendale) cleared 1.93m (6'4"), earning a 9th-place finish.
- Men's Pole Vault: Freshman CJ Brooks had a strong showing, clearing 4.50m (14'9") to finish 9th.
- Men's Long Jump: Lucas Bass (Maple Park, Ill./Kaneland) placed 8th in the invitational section with a best jump of 6.61m (21'8.25").
- Men's Triple Jump: Bass continued his success in the triple jump, securing a podium finish in 3rd place with a mark of 13.81m (45'3.75").
Notable Women's Results:
- Women's 600 Meters: Sara McGraw (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) led the way for Purdue Northwest, finishing 6th with a time of 1:38.43. Alyssa Dunlap (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) also had a strong showing, placing 14th in 1:44.29.
- Women's 5000 Meters: Myrriam Dhoore (LaPorte, Ind./LaPorte) delivered an impressive performance, securing 7th place with a time of 18:32.36.
