- J. Evans led Davenport with two hits and an RBI.
- C. Fischer started and threw eight innings, striking out six for the Panthers.
- Davenport University took an early lead in the 2nd inning with RBI singles by X. Reisbig and C. Hnilo, making it 2-0.
- The Pride responded in the 6th inning with L. Montgomery reaching base on an error, followed by a huge three-run homer by B. Glasgow, putting the Pride ahead 4-2.
- In the 8th inning, Purdue Northwest extended their lead with an RBI single by J. Kalemba, making it 5-2.
- Davenport managed to score again in the 9th inning with a double by J. Evans, but it wasn't enough as the Pride secured the victory with a final score of 5-3.
