On Sunday, Purdue Northwest Baseball faced off against #18 Wayne State in a GLIAC doubleheader, unfortunately losing both games. The first game concluded with a score of 9-1, while the second game ended with a score of 6-2.

Game One – L, 6-2 (7 Innings)
The Breakdown
- Junior Beldon Glasgow (Markle, Ind./Norwell) led the Pride with three hits and an RBI.
- Hayden Matulich (San Jose, Calif./Pioneer) and Cole Olson (Stanton, Mich./Central Montcalm) also contributed a hit each.
- Senior Noah Burgh (Warsaw, Ind./Warsaw Community High School) started on the mound for Purdue Northwest throwing three innings and striking out three.
- B. Hitzelberger led Wayne State with three hits and an RBI.
- S. Marano started and threw seven innings, striking out four for the Warriors.
- In the 1st inning, Wayne State capitalized early with a hit up the middle, bringing in two runs and taking an early lead.
- Wayne State extended their lead in the 3rd inning with a sacrifice fly to center field, adding another run to their tally.
- The 4th inning saw Wayne State adding another run with a single up the middle, increasing their advantage.
- Wayne State continued their offensive power in the 7th inning, scoring multiple runs through a combination of hits, wild pitches, and sacrifice flies.
- In the bottom of the 7th inning, the Pride found their lone run off a Glasgow double, but the damage had already been done and the Pride would fall 9-1.
Game Two – L, 4-1 (9 Innings)
- Junior Dan Puplava () led the Pride with two hits.
- Junior Jayden Smith (Allegan, Mich./Allegan) also contributed a hit and an RBI.
- Freshman Blake Newell (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) started on the mound for the Pride throwing five innings striking out five.
- L. Tobel led the Warriors with two hits.
- A. Potts started and threw four innings, striking out two for the Warriors.
- In the 2nd inning, Purdue Northwest's J. Smith singled up the middle, bringing in a runner from scoring position to give Purdue Northwest an early 1-0 lead.
- The Pride extended their lead in the 3rd inning when a runner stole third base and scored on an error by the catcher, adding another run to their tally.
- Wayne State responded in the 4th inning with a single to left field, driving in a runner for their first run of the game, reducing the deficit to 2-1.
- In the 6th inning, Wayne State staged a comeback, with a walk with the bases loaded, allowing a runner to score, and tying the game at 2-2. Another run was scored as a player walked, bringing in another runner for Wayne State's go-ahead run. A subsequent error allowed two unearned runs to score, giving Wayne State a 4-2 lead.
- Wayne State extended their lead in the 7th inning when a player reached first base on an error by the shortstop, allowing another runner to score sealing a 6-2 victory.
