On Friday, the Purdue Northwest Baseball faced off against Grand Valley State in a GLIAC doubleheader, the Pride would split the day taking game one 4-1 and dropping game two 1-4.

The Breakdown
- Junior Billy Jones () led the Pride with two hits.
- Jax Kalemba (Chicago, Ill./Andrean) also contributed a hit in the form of a homerun and two RBIs.
- Sophomore Conor Pangburn (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) started on the mound for Purdue Northwest throwing six innings and striking out three.
- J. Gulbrands led Grand Valley with one hit and an RBI.
- N. Rutkowski started and threw six innings, striking out two for the Lakers.
- In the 1st inning, Grand Valley's J. Gulbrands hit a double down the left field line, allowing R. Dykstra to advance to third and K. Nott to score, giving Grand Valley a 1-0 lead.
- The Pride responded in the bottom of the 1st inning as H. Matulich hit a sacrifice fly to right field, allowing B. Jones to score from third, tying the game at 1-1.
- In the 6th inning, the Pride took the lead as D. Puplava hit a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring D. Ballard, making the score 2-1.
- Continuing in the 6th inning, Purdue Northwest extended their lead when J. Kalemba hit a two-run home run, bringing home C. Olson as well, resulting in a final score of 4-1 in favor of Purdue Northwest.
- The Pride emerged victorious with a final score of 4-1 over Grand Valley State.
Game Two – L, 4-1 (9 Innings)
- Senior Hayden Matulich (San Jose, Calif./Pioneer) led the Pride with two hits.
- Junior Jayden Smith also contributed a hit and an RBI.
- Junior Jake Nightingale (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) started on the mound for the Pride throwing five innings striking out two.
- K. Nott led the Lakers with three hits and an RBI.
- O. Avery started and threw six innings, striking out eight for GVSU.
- In a baseball game between Grand Valley State (GRAND VA) and Purdue Northwest (PURDUE N), the scoring unfolded as follows:
- In the 1st inning, Grand Valley scored off a triple down the right field line, bringing home a run, giving Grand Valley a 1-0 lead.
- Grand Valley extended their lead in the 3rd inning with a doubled down the left field line, allowing a run to score, making it 2-0.
- Continuing their offensive performance, Grand Valley added another run in the 5th inning off another doubled down the right field line, bringing home a run, increasing their lead to 3-0.
- In the 6th inning, Grand Valley furthered their lead with a single up the middle, making it 4-0 in favor of Grand Valley.
- The Pride managed to get on the scoreboard in the 9th inning with a groundout, allowing a run to score, resulting in a final score of 4-1 in favor of Grand Valley State.
