Baseball Team Drops Doubleheader To #17 Wayne State

The Purdue Northwest baseball dropped two games to Wayne State in a GLIAC match up this Sunday. Losing game one 0-5 and game two 5-6.

  • K. Showers of Davenport would give the Panthers a one run lead in the fifth after hitting a two-run homer.
  • Wayne State would answer back in the seventh inning putting up one run to make it a 4-3 ballgame.
  • The Pride would add an insurance run in the eight to make it 5-3 but Wayne State would mount a successful comeback and hit a walk off homerun in the ninth inning to secure a 6-5 victory.
