The Pride Baseball team took on Grand Valley State University this Friday in a GLIAC matchup where they would fall short dropping the game 3-2.

The Breakdown
- Sophomore Beldon Glasgow (Markle, Ind./Norwell) led the Pride with one hit and a run scored.
- Graduate Tom Flisk (Tinley Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew) would also contribute a hit for the Pride.
- Senior Joe Buikema (Chicago, Ill./Notre Dame College Prep) started on the mound for Purdue Northwest throwing six innings and striking out five.
- N. Logan led GVSU with two hits and an RBI.
- N. Rutkowski pitched seven innings for the Lakers and struck out three batters.
- GVSU would strike first putting up one run in the first inning and another run in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Pride would bounce back in the fifth and sixth inning to tie the game up 2-2 with a Riley Gallagher (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North High School) and Jonathan Sabotnik () sac fly in each inning.
- Grand Valley would end up scoring in the eighth on a pass ball and holding onto the lead to secure a 3-2 victory.
