The Purdue Northwest baseball team took on Lewis University this Tuesday in a nonconference match up where the Pride would pick up a 13-4 victory.

- Junior Jonathan Sabotnik () led the Pride with two hits and three RBIs.
- Graduate Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) also contributed two hits and two RBIs while hitting a two-run homer.
- Junior Sam Ochoa (Oak Forest, Ill./Oak Forest) started on the mound for the Pride pitching five innings and recording four strikeouts.
- M. Alt led Lewis with three hits.
- J. Brown started and pitched three innings for the Flyers and tallied two strikeouts.
- Lewis would get on the board first in the first inning off a two-run homer.
- The Pride would answer back in the third as Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) would blast a two-run shot to right field to tie the game.
- Lewis would add two more in the fifth off another homer.
- The Pride would explode offensively in the seventh inning putting up nine runs.
- This would be too much for Lewis to come back from and the Pride would secure a 13-4 victory.
