The Pride Baseball team took on Davenport this Saturday where they would drop each game of the doubleheader. Game one would go to Davenport 11-2 and Game two the Pride would fall 15-4.

- Graduate Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) led the Pride with four hits in which two were homeruns.
- With these two homeruns Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) would become PNW Baseball's career homerun leader.
- Graduate Tom Flisk (Tinley Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew) would also contribute two hits for the Pride.
- Senior Joe Buikema (Chicago, Ill./Notre Dame College Prep) started on the mound for Purdue Northwest throwing four innings and striking out four.
- B. Mets led Davenport with three hits and four RBIs.
- I. Dyke pitched four innings for the Panthers and struck out four batters.
- Each team would play great defense through three innings until the Pride would strike first with a solo shot homerun from Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central).
- The game would come to a halt in the fifth inning when a lightning delay was issued.
- Davenport would scratch across six runs in the fifth.
- Hilbrich would hit his second homerun of the day in the fifth inning.
- Davenport would end up putting up five runs in through the six and the seventh to secure a 11-2 victory.

The Breakdown
- Graduate Tom Flisk (Tinley Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew) led the Pride with two hits and two RBIs.
- Sophomore Beldon Glasgow (Markle, Ind./Norwell) also contributed two hits and an RBI.
- Junior William Roberts (Valparaiso, Ind./Washington Township) started on the mound for the Pride, throwing two innings and striking out two.
- M. Tchavdaro led Davenport with five hits and four RBIs.
- T. McKinstry started for the Panthers and pitched four innings, recording seven strikeouts.
- Davenport's offense would come out strong putting up 11 runs through the first three innings.
- Tom Flisk (Tinley Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew) would get the Pride on the board with a two-run homer in the third inning.
- Through the fourth and seventh inning the Panthers added four more runs.
- The Pride would add two more runs in the seventh and eighth inning but due to darkness the game would come to an end.
