Pride Drop Two Against Davenport in GLIAC Matchup

The Purdue Northwest baseball dropped two games to Davenport University in a GLIAC match up this Friday. Losing game one 1-5 and game two 2-3.

  • Isaac Van Dyke started for the Panthers and pitched five innings recording four strikeouts.
  • Davenport would take an early lead in the second inning putting up one run.
  • The Pride however would answer back in the fifth putting up two runs to take the lead.
  • K. Showers of Davenport would give the Panthers a one run lead in the fifth after hitting a two-run homer.
  • Each team would battle hard to add runs but the Panthers held the Pride and secured the 3-2 victory.
