The men's track and field team traveled to Allendale, MI this Friday, and Saturday to compete in the two-day GVSU Big Meet Invite. JC Ramirez (Odessa, Texas/Odessa) led the Pride taking 1st place in triple jump on Friday.

Notable results:

•  TJ: Junior JC Ramirez (Odessa, Texas/Odessa) took 1^st place (Friday), Freshman Lucas Bass (Maple Park, Ill./Kaneland) took 3^rd place (Saturday), and Zack Bosi (Spring Valley, Ill./Hall) finished in 6^th place (Saturday).
• 4x400 Relay: The team of Freshman Carson Bateman (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville), Freshman Brendan Wiegand (Romeo, Mich./Romeo HS), Freshman Ryan Coleman (Lansing, Ill./Thornton Fractional South), and Freshman Alex Simmons (Villa Park, Ill./Willowbrook) took 3^rd place (Saturday)
• HJ: Freshman D'Shawn Dorsey (South Holland, Ill./Thornwood) finished in 3^rd place, Freshman Eli Baumann (Allendale, Mich./Allendale) took 6^th place, and Freshman Skyler McMillen (Ft. Wayne, Ind./Homestead) finished in 8^th place (All Saturday).

• The men's track team will be back in action February 25, at Saginaw Valley State for the GLIAC Indoor Championships. The meet is a two-day event with doors opening at 8:30 AM on day one and 7:30 AM on day two.
