Shaginaw sets 6K record again at Warrior Challenge

Senior Christina Shaginaw (Hobart, Ind./Hobart HS) set the women's 6K record once again for the women's cross country program with a time of 21:57.5 at the Warrior Challenge. She led the squad with a third place finish at the event.

  • Senior Holly Shaginaw (Hobart, Ind./Hobart HS) finished in 35th with a time of 23:33.9.
  • Freshman Caitlyn Derwinski (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point HS) ended with a time of 23:44.4 to put her in 42nd.
  • Freshman Abby Artherhults (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso HS) placed 86th with a final time of 24:58.5.
  • Freshman Carina Alanis (Frankfort, Ind./Frankfort HS) finished with a time of 25:02.9 that put her in 92nd place.
  • Senior Megan Teitge (Kouts, Ind./Morgan Township HS) ended in 110th with a time of 25:27.8.
  • Freshman Landry Koski (Rock, Mich./Mid Peninsula HS) finished in 145th and got a time of 27:55.5.
  • Freshman Annika Peterson (Schoolcraft, Mich./Schoolcraft HS) ended with a time of 29:05.5 to finish in 150th place.
