PNW Ice Hockey will host their first home game at the Kube complex on January 24

HAMMOND, Ind. -- The Purdue University Northwest Men's Ice Hockey team is coming home and will take their own ice at the Ice Kube next Friday, January 24.

"We are excited to be playing in the first college hockey game at the Kube complex," said Head Coach Kevin Cole. "A huge thank you goes to all of the ownership team and the community who made this possible."

After spending much of their inaugural season on the road, the Pride will take on Butler University in their first home event. Puck-drop is set for 7:30 p.m. (CT) and all are invited to attend the game free of charge. Following the contest me, fans will have the chance to join the players on the ice and skate. Skate rentals will be made available.

"We are thrilled to be playing at home at the Ice Kube," said Director of Athletics Rick Costello. "I am excited for the student-athletes, coaches and fans as we bring PNW Ice Hockey to Hammond and give them a true Pride home experience."

January 24 will also feature a ceremonial puck-drop before the game with the Ice Cube ownership ship.
