Purdue Northwest Men's Basketball senior forward Kyle Ross (Saint John, Ind./Lake Central) and graduate student forward Kevin Taylor (Acworth, Ga./Allatoona) were recognized for their standout seasons as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its 2026 All-GLIAC Men's Basketball selections.
Ross earned First Team All-GLIAC honors while Taylor was named to the All-GLIAC Second Team. The recognition marks the first GLIAC postseason award for both players during their collegiate careers.
Ross turned in one of the most productive seasons in the conference, appearing in and starting all 28 games for the Pride. He averaged 15.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 54.9 percent from the field. Ross totaled 430 points and 226 rebounds during the season, including 70 offensive rebounds and 156 on the defensive glass.
Among conference leaders, Ross finished second in the GLIAC in rebounds per game and field goal percentage while ranking inside the Top 10 in scoring average. His strong presence in the paint and consistent scoring helped anchor Purdue Northwest throughout the season. Ross also added 77 assists, 17 steals and 11 blocks while averaging just over 29 minutes per contest.
Taylor also played a major role for the Pride, starting all 28 games and averaging 29.4 minutes per outing. He averaged 11.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 49.8 percent from the floor and 78.5 percent from the free throw line.
Taylor knocked down 38 three-pointers during the season and finished with 315 total points and 161 rebounds. In addition to his scoring ability, he contributed across the stat sheet with 48 assists, 27 steals and 12 blocks while providing a steady veteran presence.
Ross and Taylor were key pieces for Purdue Northwest throughout the 2025-26 season, combining for 745 points and 387 rebounds. Their All-GLIAC selections recognize the impact both players made for the Pride and mark a significant milestone as each earns their first career postseason honor from the conference.
