The Purdue Northwest baseball team wrapped up its road trip on Sunday with a GLIAC matchup against Grand Valley State, falling 10-2 at GVSU Baseball Field.

- Drew Kosteba (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) led the Pride offensively with a pair of hits and an RBI, while Billy Chidsey (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) added a double and reached base twice.
- Braylon Holland (Hobart, Ind./Andrean) recorded a hit and scored a run, and Ryder Fernandez (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) provided a late spark with a solo home run in the ninth inning.
- Purdue Northwest opened the scoring in the third inning. Holland singled to start the rally and later came around to score on an RBI single from Kosteba, tying the game at 1-1.
- Grand Valley State responded in the bottom half of the inning with four runs, highlighted by a two-run single from Caden Thelen and a two-run home run by Noah Brandt to take a 5-1 lead.
- The Lakers added three more runs in the fifth inning to extend the advantage to 8-1, capitalizing on timely hitting with runners on base.
- Purdue Northwest threatened in the eighth inning after Tyler Blair (Munster, Ind./Munster) doubled and Holland drew a walk, but the Pride were unable to capitalize.
