The Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball team opened its road trip with a tough GLIAC matchup on Thursday evening, falling to Parkside, 77-65, at De Simone Arena in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The Breakdown

• Parkside set the tone early, shooting 68.8% in the opening quarter to build a 25-12 lead after one. The Rangers carried that momentum into the second period, extending their advantage to 46-30 at halftime behind efficient perimeter shooting and ball movement.
• The Pride showed resilience in the third quarter, tightening defensively and limiting Parkside to 29.4% shooting in the period. However, Purdue Northwest was unable to significantly cut into the deficit and trailed 61-42 entering the fourth.
• Purdue Northwest made a late push in the final quarter, scoring 23 points and attacking the rim to get to the free-throw line 13 times. Despite the improved offensive rhythm, Parkside's early cushion proved too much to overcome as the Rangers secured the 77-65 victory.
