The Purdue Northwest Volleyball program has officially released its 2025 season schedule, featuring a strong mix of regional tournaments, key GLIAC match-ups, and home-court showdowns at John Friend Court. The Pride will compete in 28 matches this fall, beginning in early September and running through mid-November.
The season opens with a trio of matches at the McKendree Invitational in Lebanon, Illinois. Purdue Northwest kicks off play on Friday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. CT against Missouri-St. Louis. The Pride then return to action on Saturday, September 6 with a doubleheader against Minnesota Duluth at 11:30 a.m. CT and host McKendree University at 7:00 p.m. CT.
Following their Midwest debut, the Pride travel west for the Cougar Classic in San Marcos, California, hosted by Cal State San Marcos. The event runs Friday, September 12 through Saturday, September 13, with match times and opponents to be announced.
GLIAC play gets underway the following weekend, as Purdue Northwest heads to Roosevelt University on Friday, September 19 for a 6:00 p.m. CT match in Chicago. The Pride stay on the road the next day, Saturday, September 20, for a match-up against Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
PNW makes its 2025 season home debut on Friday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. CT, hosting Saginaw Valley State at John Friend Court. The Pride then welcome Lake Superior State on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. CT when they play at the Westville campus in the H.D. Kesling Gymnasium for a special gameday.
The home stretch continues with four consecutive GLIAC matches in Hammond. Purdue Northwest hosts Grand Valley State on Friday, October 3 at 6:00 p.m. CT, followed by Wayne State on Saturday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. CT. The following weekend features match-ups with Northern Michigan on Saturday, October 11 at 12:00 p.m. CT and Michigan Tech on Sunday, October 12 at 2:00 p.m. CT.
A marquee event on the 2025 calendar is the Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover, scheduled for October 17–18 and hosted in Hammond. The tournament brings together top teams from the GLIAC, GLVC, and GMAC in weekend non-conference action.
The Pride hit the road for a series of tough conference road matches beginning October 24 at Davenport (4:00 p.m. CT), followed by a trip to Ferris State on October 25. The final stretch of the regular season continues with back-to-back away matches at Lake Superior State on Friday, October 31Â and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday, November 1.
Purdue Northwest returns home for Senior Weekend, hosting Roosevelt on Friday, November 7 at 6:00 p.m. CT and Parkside on Saturday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. CT.
The regular season concludes with two final road contests. The Pride face Wayne State on Friday, November 14 at 6:00 p.m. CT before finishing the campaign against Grand Valley State on Saturday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. CT in Allendale, Michigan.
