The Breakdown
- The Pride scored the first goal of the game off a Garcia strike in the ninth minute to take an early 1-0 lead.
- SVSU tied things up in the 24th minute 1-1, on a corner kick header from Bradley.
- Purdue Northwest grabbed the lead in the 57th minute off a Pena goal which ultimately became the game-winner to give the Pride a big 2-1 victory.
- The Pride slightly outshot the Cardinals, 8-7.
