- The Pride took the lead in the ninth minute of the game off a corner kick from Carter to Scaling to grab a 1-0 lead.
- Purdue Northwest scored their second goal of the first half off a Gonzalez strike to take 2-0 lead into halftime.
- The Dragons did not go away, scoring their first goal of the game in the 55th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- Tiffin tied the game off a fortunate bounce in the 77th minute to make the game 2-2.
- In the 83rd minute, the Dragons received a straight red card giving the Pride a man advantage for the remainder of the game.
- With twenty seconds remaining in the game, off a free kick, the ball landed at the feet of Gonzalez on a bounce and she was able to put in the back of the net for the game-winning goal, giving the Pride a thrilling 3-2 victory.
