Purdue Northwest Men's Basketball seventh-year head coach Boomer Roberts welcomes ten newcomers for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

"We were patient with the 2024 recruiting class, because we really wanted the right guys at the right time," said Roberts. "The patience paid off, as we couldn't be more excited about adding these ten guys to our core returners. As a group, they fit our Love-Joy-Toughness culture because they love hoops, love to compete, and choose to have great attitudes every day. Credit to our assistant coaches, Kendall Aldridge and Xavier Allison, who did a big-time job evaluating and showing our new guys what our PNW Basketball Family is about."

Collin Albert – 5'11 Guard – Cleveland, Ohio (Northwood)
"We knew how good Collin was because we played against him last year, but as we got to know him we were even more impressed by his humility and desire to be a part of a great family. CA is an athletic, playmaking guard whose has produced and been an All-Conference player at the D2 level already. We believe his competitive spirit will help make him one of the best two-way players in the GLIAC."

Will Ashford – 6'5 Guard – Aurora, Illinois (Metea Valley High School)
"Will is the only freshman in our 2024 class, but you wouldn't know it based on his combination of strength and skill. He impacts winning on both sides of the ball and was very productive at MVHS. Will can score it from the perimeter or around the rim, and we believe he can be a great, versatile defender for us. Will has the mentality and competitiveness to thrive at Purdue Northwest."
Ashford 2024-25

Detalian Brown – 6'3 Guard – Chicago, Illinois (North Alabama)
"Detalian is a guy we recruited out of high school, so we're excited to add a really talented player that has his veteran experience at the college level. Dee is a big-time shooter and playmaker who scored over 500 points for North Alabama. But what excites us more is his desire to win. A Chicago native, Dee is going to raise the level of everyone around him on both ends of the floor."
Brown 2024-25

Clayton Bubash – 6'6 Forward – Munster, Indiana (Marian University Ancilla)
"Clay is a region guy who always has impressed us with his intangibles and toughness. He's been well coached at multiple places, including playing for Mike Hackett at Munster High School. This past year, Clay bounced back from injury to have a productive year at Ancilla. He competes on the glass, talks on the defensive end, and can shoot it from the perimeter as well."
Bubash 2024-25

Aaron Davis – 5'11 Guard – Cincinnati, Ohio (Lakeland CC)
"Aaron fits what we're about in our PNW Basketball Family. He is a tough-minded competitor who doesn't back down from a challenge. We love AD's fearlessness on the defensive end, which will raise the level every day. Offensively, he can shoot it and get to the paint to make plays for others. Off the court, Aaron is a great student and will add to the joy in our locker room."
Davis 2024-25

Ashton Henderson – 6'2 Guard – Detroit, Michigan (Schoolcraft CC)
"Ashton played in the same Junior College league as Kalil Whitehead (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech) and Ty Rodgers, and is very familiar with the GLIAC as he grew up in Detroit. He's quick off the bounce, and had some big games for Schoolcraft. Ashton is another guy who we are counting on to dog the ball every day, and he's up for the challenge. We loved his desire to be a part of our PNW Basketball Family."
Henderson 2024-25

Jailen Nelson – 5'11 Guard – San Diego, California (Cal State Monterey Bay)
"We're very excited to add Jailen to our family. J makes everyone around him better because of his skill level and unselfishness. Jailen has been an All-Conference performer at the D2 level already, and he fits our style of play. He's very smart, makes great reads, and is a really tough cover because of his speed and shooting ability. Jailen is going to be a big part of what we accomplish this year."
Nelson 2024-25

Quinton McCullough – 6'5 Guard – Champaign, Illinois (McHenry CC)
"Quinton was incredible productive at McHenry, earning Skyway Conference Player of the Year honors this past season under Rashim Lettsome, a coach we have a lot of respect for. A strong and athletic player who is effective inside or on the perimeter, Q is a mismatch problem for opponents. His ball skills, IQ, and unselfishness allow him to lead the break and make plays for others or finish around the rim."
McCullough 2024-25

Danny Oravbiere – 6'7 Forward – Newark, New Jersey (Morris CC)
"Danny has a joyful, engaging personality that draws people in, and he will impact PNW on the court and off from the first day he is on campus. Danny is an elite vertical athlete who impacts winning with his defensive presence, nose for the boards, and his ability to finish. He led his Morris squad to the NJCAA National Tournament, and we are excited to have him in our PNW Basketball Family."
Oravbierre 2024-25

Trevon Stoutermire – 6'8 Forward – Birmingham, Alabama (Alcorn State)
"Trevon is a great teammate with an infectious personality, and we are thrilled to have him at Purdue Northwest. On the court, he uses his athleticism and motor to make plays on both ends. A defensive difference maker who loves to get out in transition, Tre adds to our versatility with his ability to guard multiple positions. Off the court, Tre is a good student who will represent our program well in the classroom."
