The Purdue Northwest softball team finished the regular season with a sweep on the road in GLIAC play at Davenport. The Pride held off the Panthers in Game 1, 7-4, and then earned a hard-fought shutout victory in Game 2, 4-0.

Game 1
The Breakdown
- Senior Aubrey Shroyer (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon)Â led the Pride with two hits and two RBIs.
- Graduate student Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) added one with three RBIs
- Freshman Emma Fair (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) and sophomore Amanda DeBoer (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian) each contribute two hits.
- Junior Darcy Barkauskas (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) and junior Myah Stuckey (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) chipped in one hit and one RBI each during the contest.
- Senior Maddion Roop started on the mound for the Pride and pitched all seven innings for the complete game win earning five strikeouts while allowing two earned runs. Also, with the win, Maddison becomes the single-season record in wins with 16.
- Savanna Disbrow led Davenport with three hits.
- Haley Whisman started in the circle for the Panthers and pitched the first two innings after giving up four runs off six hits.
- Davenport grabbed the early lead in the first inning off a solo shot from Hailey Krieger to make it 1-0.
- The Panthers scored another run in the second inning off an RBI single from Daoust to make the score 2-0.
- Purdue Northwest took the lead in the third after a three-run bomb from Michko making the score 3-2.
- The Pride added three more runs in the same inning to increase their lead to 6-2.
- The Panthers cut their deficit to two in the sixth inning to make the score 6-4.
- In the seventh, Barkauskas came in for a pinch hit opportunity and made the most of it, driving in a run to extend the Pride lead to 7-4.
- Purdue Northwest shut down the Davenport bats in the seventh to come away with the victory, 7-4.

The Breakdown
- Michko led the Pride at the plate with three hits and two RBIs including a homerun.
- Senior Aubrey Shroyer (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon) added two hits and one RBI.
- Senior Allison Arnold (Tucson, Ariz./Naperville North) contributed one hit and one RBI.
- Senior Jessica DeBoer (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian), sophomore Olivia Hernandez (Aurora, Ill./Aurora Central Catholic), and sophomore Amanda DeBoer (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian) each chipped in one hit.
- Senior Gabby Paliska (Palos Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East (Wisconsin-Green Bay)) started in the circle for Pride and pitched all seven innings for the complete game shutout win allowing only three hits and striking out seven batters.
- Three Davenport players led the team with one hit apiece.
- Kelsey Byers started on the mound for the Panthers and pitched all seven innings allowing ten hits, four runs, and tallied four strikeouts.
- The Pride took the lead in the second inning off a solo homer by Arnold to make it 1-0.
- Michko launched a two-run homerun in the third inning to extend the Purdue Northwest lead to 3-0.
- The Pride scored their last run in the fourth to make the score 4-0.
- The Purdue Northwest defense and pitching were strong all game and held the Panthers to zero runs for the shutout victory, 4-0.
