This Friday the Purdue Northwest baseball team hosted Saginaw Valley State at Dowling Park for a GLIAC Conference matchup where the Pride would earn a big win over the Cardinals by a score of 8-6.

However, Purdue Northwest quickly responded in the third inning with C. Olson's clutch double down the right-field line, bringing B. Jones home and narrowing the gap.
- The game intensified in the fourth inning, with both teams exchanging blows. Saginaw Valley extended their lead with a stolen base and a run scored on an error. But Purdue Northwest answered back fiercely, as B. Jones' single drove in two runs, followed by another two-RBI single from C. Olson, propelling Purdue Northwest into the lead.

However, Purdue Northwest remained resilient, with D. Puplava's clutch double in the seventh inning driving in an insurance run, ultimately securing an 8-6 victory.
