The PNW baseball team earned a road victory at midwest region foe University of Indianapolis on Wednesday afternoon, 4-2.

The Breakdown:
- Senior Luke Montgomery (Orland Park, Ill./St. Laurence High School) led the Pride with three hits including a double and scoring a run.
- Sophomore Drake Ballard (Louisville, Ky./Martha Laynes Collins) notched two hits.
- Junior Brett Mattys chipped in one hit and one RBI.
- Junior Jake Nightingale (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) started on the mound for Purdue Northwest and pitched the first 7.1 innings. He earned the win while recording seven strikeouts.
- Sophomore Ethan Getting (Portage,Mich./Portage North) came in for the Pride finished the final 2.1 innings and tallied his first save of the season with three strikeouts.
- C. Vaughn led UIndy with two hits and one RBI.
- D. Cardenas started and pitched the first five innings for the Greyhounds and struck out four batters.
- UIndy scored the first two runs and only runs in the third inning to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Pride tallied their first run in the sixth inning to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- Purdue Northwest rallied in the eighth inning and scored three runs to take a 4-2 advantage.
- Getting came in for the save opportunity and helped the Pride earn the win and save in the end.
