rd the Purdue Northwest D2 Hockey Team took on the University of Cincinnati in a two-game series where the Pride would unfortunately drop both games by a score of 1-5 and 6-8.

- The third period saw Cincinnati further extend their lead as Jordan Winrod netted his second goal of the game at 3:01, with assists from Aiden Hansen and Alexander Church. Greyson Bragg added an insurance goal at 8:16, assisted by Matthew Bauman and Aiden Hansen, sealing the victory for Cincinnati.

- Colin Kozijn led the offense for Purdue Northwest with two goals, while Alex Moon (Wyandotte, Mich./Wyandotte) and Jordan DeGouw () each scored once to contribute to the Pride's efforts.Â
- Jordan DeGouw () also made a significant playmaking impact, recording three assists, while Sean Curtin (Chicago, Ill./) and Blake Witkowski (Thompson, Conn.) added two assists each. Dominic Suhr (Las Vegas, Nev.) chipped in with an assist as well.Â
- Purdue Northwest's goaltender John Hughes (Noblesville, Ind.) faced a challenging night, playing for the full 60 minutes and making 36 saves on 44 shots.Â

Cincinnati responded at 2:41 with a goal by Brendan Booth, assisted by Caden Ancona and Spencer Dillard. A power-play goal by Jordan Winrod at 17:47, assisted by Matthew Bauman and Caden Ancona, gave Cincinnati the lead heading into the second period.Â
- The second period saw Purdue Northwest's offense come alive. Colin Kozijn scored at 3:33, assisted by Blake Witkowski (Thompson, Conn.) and Jordan DeGouw (). Just 22 seconds later, Cameron Cederblom (Norrtalje, Sweden) tied the game with a goal, assisted by DeGouw. However, Cincinnati reclaimed control with a series of goals: Connor Burke scored at 4:45, assisted by Sawyer Zielinski and Bradley Backston, followed by Ryan Lannoye's goal at 5:05, assisted by Bauman. Sedric Cowans added a power-play goal at 9:01, assisted by Alexander Church and Jacob Kempa. Zielinski extended the lead with a goal at 15:34, assisted by Kempa.Â
- Purdue Northwest fought back late in the second period, with DeGouw scoring a power-play goal at 16:42, assisted by Dominic Suhr (Las Vegas, Nev.). Kozijn added his second goal of the night at 19:28, assisted by DeGouw and Witkowski. However, Alex Perez scored the game-winner for Cincinnati at 19:53, assisted by Dillard and Ancona.Â
- In the third period, Alex Moon (Wyandotte, Mich./Wyandotte) brought Purdue Northwest closer with a goal at 8:08, assisted by Sean Curtin (Chicago, Ill./). Cincinnati sealed the game with an insurance goal by Zielinski at 19:08, assisted by Kempa and Nathan Sunderhaus.
