This Wednesday, the NCHL announced its 2026 postseason conference awards, and the Purdue Northwest D2 Hockey team was well represented among the honorees. Collin Kozjin,
Dave Anderson (Carrolton, Texas),
Devin Wiegel (Orland Park, Ill.),
Alex Moon (Wyandotte, Mich./Wyandotte),
Adam Napravnik (Praha, Czech Republic/), and Head Coach
Tom Pauly all received recognition for their standout seasons.
Junior captain Collin Kozjin and senior defenseman
Dave Anderson (Carrolton, Texas) were both named to the All-Conference Second Team. Kozjin tallied 16 goals and 12 assists in 27 games, serving as the offensive catalyst for the Pride throughout the season. As team captain, he consistently set the tone and was often the spark that got Purdue Northwest rolling.
On the blue line, Anderson anchored the Pride's defense while also contributing offensively. He recorded 10 goals and 13 assists in 27 games, delivering timely plays on both ends of the ice and playing a key role in the team's success.
Freshman
Devin Wiegel (Orland Park, Ill.) earned Second-Team All-Rookie honors after making an immediate impact in his first season with the Pride. Appearing in six games, Wiegel recorded one goal and two assists while logging valuable minutes on the ice. His steady presence and early contributions highlight a promising future in a Purdue Northwest sweater.
Senior
Alex Moon (Wyandotte, Mich./Wyandotte) and sophomore
Adam Napravnik (Praha, Czech Republic/) each earned Honorable Mention recognition after strong seasons for the Pride. Moon proved to be a reliable offensive weapon, totaling 13 goals and 16 assists in 27 games. His ability to create scoring opportunities and deliver in key moments made him a consistent threat throughout the year.
On the defensive end, Napravnik was a steady presence for Purdue Northwest. He came up with timely stops while also contributing offensively, recording three goals and 11 assists in 25 games. His vision and passing ability added another layer to the Pride's transition game.
In just his second season behind the bench, Head Coach
Tom Pauly earned one of the league's highest honors, being named the 2025–2026 NCHL Coach of the Year after guiding the Pride to an impressive 21–6 record. Building on last year's success, Pauly has continued to elevate the program, leading Purdue Northwest to back-to-back conference championship appearances and securing the team's first-ever Regionals berth in program history. His leadership has helped set a new standard for the Pride.
