The Breakdown
  • Both teams battled back-and-forth during the whole first half trading baskets and mistakes along the way. The Pride grabbed the lead after a three-pointer from Ashton Henderson (Detroit, Mich./Oak Park) right before halftime to make it, 42-40.
  • The Pride continued to hold the scrappy Phantoms to start the second half holding a slim 57-50 lead.
  • Purdue Northwest then kicked it into gear with a 15-4 to grow their lead, 72-54, with seven minutes remaining.
  • The Pride then cruised from their and taking the double-digit win in the end, 93-71.
