Women's Basketball takes down Tiffin in final day of GLIAC/GLVC Crossover

The Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball team took down Tiffin in the final day of the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover on Saturday afternoon in an 84-71 victory at home.

  • Senior Akyia Baker (Newark, N.J./St. Thomas Aquinas) led the Pride with a game-high 26 points going 9-of-19 from the field and recorded six assists while grabbing seven rebounds.
  • Junior Alyssa Cole (Nashville, Ill./Nashville Community) added a double-double scoring 16 points and snatching 13 boards.
  • Senior Cherrelle Newsom (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) tallied 15 points for the Pride.
