Women's Cross Country takes 5th place at Lewis Crossover Invite

The women's cross-country team competed in the 2024 Lewis Crossover in Romeoville, Illinois, this Saturday, securing a 5th place overall finish. Myrriam Dhoore (LaPorte, Ind./LaPorte (IU-South Bend)) led the Pride, finishing 13th individually.

•    Myrriam Dhoore (LaPorte, Ind./LaPorte (IU-South Bend)) secured 13th place, crossing the finish line in 24:23.61. 
•    Kennedy Cox (Las Vegas, Nev./Somerset Sky Pointe) claimed 21st with a time of 24:49.83. 
•    Sara McGraw (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) earned 25th place, recording a time of 25:01.27. 
•    Lizeth Flores Bernal (Harvard, Ill./Harvard) placed 40th, finishing in 25:26.76. 
•    Jerralee Testa (Bridgewater, Va./Turner Asby) crossed the line in 59th place with a time of 26:11.33. 
•    Alyssa Dunlap (/) followed closely in 61st, posting a time of 26:12.36. 
•    Sonya Wagner (Greenville, Tenn.) completed the race in 86th place with a time of 27:23.07.

The women's cross-country team will be back in action Saturday, October 26th in Big Rapids, Michigan for the 2024 GLIAC Cross Country Championships.
