Women's Basketball downed by Michigan Tech at home

The Purdue Northwest women's basketball team were downed at home to Michigan Tech in GLIAC action on Saturday afternoon, 63-51.

  • Senior Mercedes Simmons (Crystal Falls, Mich./Forest Park) led the Pride with a double-double scoring 21 points and grabbing 13 rebounds with three blocks.
  • Senior Dash Shaw (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) added 21 points as well and seven boards with three assists.
  • As a team, the Pride ended the contest shooting 17-of-49 (34.7%) from the floor and went 3-of-10 (30.0%) from the three-point line.
  • Alyssa Wypych led Michigan Tech scoring 17 points off the bench.

The Breakdown
