The Purdue Northwest softball team split their GLIAC road doubleheader at Parkside on Wednesday afternoon coming from behind to win Game 1, 7-5, then falling in Game 2 in six innings, 11-3.

The Breakdown
- Junior Allison Arnold (Tucson, Ariz./Naperville North) led the Pride two hits and four RBIs with a grand slam.
- Senior Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) added two hits and one RBI.
- Graduate Madison Schultz (Lafayette, Ind./Faith Christian) contributed two hits.
- Senior Ashley Bravo (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young) chipped in one hit and one RBI during the game.
- Junior Maddison Roop (Hudson, Ill./University) started on the mound for the Pride and pitched the first 4.2 innings.
- Junior Gabby Paliska (Palos Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East (Wisconsin-Green Bay)) came in and pitched last 2.1 innings to earn the win with three strikeouts.

- Senior Abbie May (LaSalle, Ill./Saint Bede Academy) started in the circle and pitched the first inning.
- Paliska and junior Abbie May (LaSalle, Ill./Saint Bede Academy) came in to pitch the last six innings for the Pride.
- Rutledge and Wooten led the Rangers with two hits and two RBIs each.
- Curtis started on the mound for Parkside and pitched the first three innings and earned the win. Fee finished the last three innings
- The Rangers started fast scoring four runs in the first inning to take an early 4-0 lead.
- Purdue Northwest scored a run in the third inning off an RBI single from Bravo to make the score 4-1.
