The Purdue Northwest softball team swept Ferris State in GLIAC home action on Sunday afternoon dominating Game 1, 12-4, and taking Game 2, 5-1. With those win, the Pride earned the most wins in a single-season (28).

The Breakdown
- Senior Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) led the Pride twos hit and two RBIs.
- Junior Aubrey Shroyer (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon), senior Ashley Bravo (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young), graduate Madison Schultz (Lafayette, Ind./Faith Christian), senior Jocey Gault (West Lafayette, Ind./Harrison), and junior Kelsi Dillon (Braidwood, Ill./Reed-Custer (Georgian Court)) added two hits and one RBI each.
- Junior Jessica DeBoer (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian) and junior Allison Arnold (Tucson, Ariz./Naperville North) chipped in one hit and two RBIs each.
- Junior Gabby Paliska (Palos Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East (Wisconsin-Green Bay))Â started on the mound for the Pride and picked the win pitched all six innings notching five strikeouts.
- Orme and Verbeek each led Ferris State with one hit and two RBIs.
- Wisniski pitched the first 4.1 innings for the Bulldogs and earned three strikeouts.
- Ferris State started the scoring in the first inning with an Orme two-run homerun to take a 2-0 lead
- The Bulldogs added two more runs in the third inning off a Verbeek two-run homer to increase their lead to 4-0.
- The Pride got on the board in the fourth inning scoring two runs to the deficit to 4-2.
- Purdue Northwest lit up the fifth inning scoring nine runs to take a 11-4 commanding lead.
- Gault launched a solo homerun to seal the win for the Pride in the sixth inning 12-4.

The Breakdown
- J.DeBoer led the Pride with two hits and three RBIs including a homerun.
- Bravo added two hits and one RBI.
- Shroyer chipped in two hits.
- Senior Abbie May (LaSalle, Ill./Saint Bede Academy) started in the circle and pitched all seven innings for the Pride to earn the victory. She tallied four strikeouts and allowed only one run.
- Three Ferris State players led the team with two hits each.
- Gallacher started on the mound for the Warriors and pitched all six innings.
- The Pride started off the scoring taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning off a Bravo RBI double.
- Wayne State tied it up in the fourth, 1-1.
- Purdue Northwest scored four runs in the sixth inning to take a 5-1 advantage and sealed the win in the seventh inning.
