The Pride Baseball team celebrated their senior day this Sunday where they took on Grand Valley State University in a GLIAC matchup. The Pride honored Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central), Kane Clendenen (Mendota, Ill./Saint Bede Academy), Tom Flisk (Tinley Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew), Nathan Boyer (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest), Riley Gallagher (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North High School), Jack Gallagher (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North High School), and Joe Buikema (Chicago, Ill./Notre Dame College Prep). Unfortunately, the Pride would fall to the Lakers 15-4.

The Breakdown
- Graduate Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) led the Pride with two hits.
- Graduate Tom Flisk (Tinley Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew) would also contribute a hit and two RBIs for the Pride with a two-run homer.
- Junior Conor Pangburn () started on the mound for Purdue Northwest throwing three innings and striking out three.
- L. Anderson led GVSU with four hits and three RBIs.
- M. Morawski pitched five innings for the Lakers and struck out three batters.
- The Laker's offense would come out hot and put up ten runs in the first four innings to take an early 10-0 lead.
- The Pride would get one in the fourth, but GVSU kept on the pressure adding on three more runs.
- The Pride would score in the eighth and ninth but the deficient was to much to overcome and the Pride would fall 15-4.
