The Purdue Northwest baseball team traveled up to Indianapolis, Indiana this Tuesday to take on the University of Indianapolis in doubleheader. The Pride ended up dropping both games, 5-7 and 1-6.

Game 1, vs. UINDY - L, 5-7 (7 innings)
The Breakdown
- Graduate Ray Hilbrich (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) led the Pride with one hit and an RBI.
- Tyler Nelson (), Luke Montgomery (Orland Park, Ill./St. Laurence High School), Alex Gasbarro (New Lenox, Ill./St. Laurence High School), and Jack Gallagher (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North High School) all each contributed one hit as well.
- Junior Noah Burgh (Warsaw, Ind./Warsaw Community High School) started on the mound for the Pride pitching 4.2 innings and recording four strikeouts.
- Vaughn led UINDY with two hits and an RBI.
- Ware started and pitched 3 innings for the Greyhounds and tallied six strikeouts.
- UINDY would add two in the first inning coming of two sacrifice hits.
- They Pride however would quickly take the lead in the second inning as they put up three runs with a Glasgow sacrifice fly to score Hilbrich and a error that scored Gasbarro and Miller.
- UINDY would tie the game in the third but the Pride would answer back in the fifth with a Tyler Nelson () RBI single to take a 4-3 lead.
- UNIDY would have a big two run inning in the fifth to take a 6-4 lead.
- The Pride would scratch one more run across in the sixth, but UINDY would add one more insurance run and close out the game to secure the 7-5 victory.
Game 2, vs. UINDY - L, 1-6 (9 innings)
The Breakdown
- Sophomore Beldon Glasgow (Markle, Ind./Norwell) led Purdue Northwest with two hit and an RBI.
- Freshman Drake Ballard (Louisville, Ky./Martha Laynes Collins) also contributed two hits.
- Junior Sam Shively (Mishawaka, Ind./Mishawaka) started on the mound for the Pride and pitched six innings striking out five.
- DeWitt led UINDY with four hits and an RBI.
- Klemm pitched six innings for the Greyhounds and recorded one strikeout.
- The Pride scored there lone run in the second inning from a Glasgow RBI single to take a 1-0 lead.
- UINDY's offense however would not put their foot on the brake as they put up one run in the fifth, three in the sixth, and two in the eighth.
- This run deficit would bare to much for the Pride to overcome and the fell securing the UINDY the 6-1 victory.
