The Purdue Northwest softball team earned two wins in their second day of action at the Florida Spring Games, defeating Saint Michaels, 6-3, then dominated New Haven in five innings, 11-0.

The Breakdown
- Senior Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) led the Pride going a perfect 4-of-4 at the plate with two homeruns and three RBIs.
- Senior Madison Schultz (Lafayette, Ind./Faith Christian) tallied two hits and two RBIs which included a homerun.
- Junior Aubrey Shroyer (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon) added in two hits and one RBI.
- Senior Ashley Bravo (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young) and sophomore Myah Stuckey (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) chipped in two hits each.
- Senior Abbie May (LaSalle, Ill./Saint Bede Academy) started on the mound for the Pride pitching the first five innings and earning the win. She notched five strikeouts.
- Junior Maddison Roop (Hudson, Ill./University) pitched the final two innings to secure her first save of the season.
- Hiscock led Saint Michaels with one hit and two RBIs.
- Simpson started in the circle for the Purple Knights and struck out two batters.
- Purdue Northwest started the scoring early in the first inning with a Michko 2-run homerun to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Pride added a run in the second inning to increase the lead to 3-0.
- Saint Michaels earned their first run of the game in the third inning off an Arruda solo shot to make it 3-1.
- Purdue Northwest increased their lead to 5-1 with two runs in the third.
- The Purple Knights recorded two runs in the fourth to cut their deficit to 5-3.
- Schultz launched a homer in the fifth to add a run and seal the win, 6-3.
- The Pride ended the contest with 14 hits.

- Bravo led the Pride with three hits and two RBIs going 3-of-4 at the plate.
- Junior Allison Arnold (Tucson, Ariz./Naperville North) added one hit and two RBIs.
- Six Purdue Northwest members chipped in one hit and RBI.
- Junior Gabby Paliska (Palos Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East (Wisconsin-Green Bay)) started in the circle for the Pride and earned a shutout victory. She only allowed one hit and tallied five strikeouts.
- Frederick led New Haven with one hit.
- Aponte pitched all five innings for the Chargers.
- The Pride got the scoring started in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead.
- Purdue Northwest added two more runs in the third to make it 3-0.
- The Pride lit up the fifth inning scoring eight runs and sealing the victory in the end, 11-0.
- Purdue Northwest ended the game with a total of ten hits.
