Junior JC Ramirez (Odessa, Texas/Odessa) of the Purdue Northwest men's track and field team received NCAA Division II All Region honors for Triple Jump. 

On Tuesday, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their regions honor list which includes the top-5 individuals in each event from each region and among that list was Purdue Northwest's JC Ramirez (Odessa, Texas/Odessa). Ramirez has had a great season for the Pride placing very high in several meets and even taking first place in the GLIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. JC Ramirez (Odessa, Texas/Odessa) is the first athlete to receive this honor for the Purdue Northwest men's track and field team.
