QUICK FACTS
  • Isaiah Nieves extended his point streak to six games by scoring the game-winner on a chip shot in the 54th minute. It was the senior's 15th career goal and second career game-winner.
  • Nieves has either scored or assisted in his previous six outings dating back to last season. He leads the team with nine points (3-3-9) this fall. For his career, Nieves has recorded 41 points (15-11-41) in 40 games.
  • Christian Booth scored his first career goal in a PNW kit and became the fourth different Pride player to score a goal this season. The sophomore got creative on a breakaway and beat multiple defenders before tapping the ball past the keeper.
  • PNW's second goal came as a result from an own goal after the Pride took a corner kick.
  • PNW won its third straight meeting against Upper Iowa with all three wins coming at Dowling Park. The Pride have never lost to the Peacocks (3-0-1).
  • The Pride moved to 2-3 in GLIAC openers since joining the league in 2017.
  • PNW recorded its first clean sheet of the season as goalkeeper Sebastian Contreras improved to 2-0. The junior logged four saves and recorded his second career shutout.
