Box Score MIDLAND, Mich. – Purdue Northwest (9-8) fell to Wayne State (8-8) Sunday in the third-place match at the GLIAC Men's Tennis Tournament. The third-seeded Warriors come out on top by a 4-1 count over the fourth-seeded Pride.
"Franssen and Hawes had a great doubles win for us after a bit of a slow start in the first few games," said head coach
Lucian Tabic. "Give credit to our guys for coming back fired up and competing hard in singles. We didn't end up with the result we wanted but in many ways we found a renewed sense of excitement as we wrapped up this conference tournament. We're looking forward to the next few years and what they will mean to our tennis program."
