The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards for week eight of the 2026 spring tennis season, with Purdue Northwest senior Samuel Dickson (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Glory of God) earning top honors after an impressive weekend of competition.

Dickson was named this week's GLIAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week following a standout stretch against high-level opponents. He remained competitive in every match, highlighted by a straight-sets victory over #25 Tusculum University's top singles player, 6-4, 6-4. He carried that momentum into doubles play, securing a key 6-4 win against Grand Valley State University's number one doubles team to cap off a strong all-around performance.
